VIRTUAL LEARNING SUPPORT CENTERS

Any North Collins student(s) between the ages of 5 –12 has access to a Virtual Learning Support Center of their choice hosted at one of nine partnering child care/youth service provider facilities.  Erie County has been working with local child care organizations, providers, school districts and community organizations to create Virtual Learning Support Centers (VLSCs). These are supervised programs that children can attend on the days that they are designated to complete their school work remotely. Attached is the updated list of providers.  All child care providers are responsible for meeting all CDC, State, and Local Department of Health recommendations for age appropriate social distancing and masking, as well as recommendations for cleaning, disinfecting and adhering to all health guidelines.

More information can be found on the Parent Guide to Virtual Learning Support Centers and the Erie County website.

We realize that Virtual Support Learning Centers might not meet the needs of every family or every child. If you are having trouble finding open slots, need a program where your non school-aged children can go as well, or the Virtual Learning Support Center options in your district are just not working out for you please call Child Care Resource Network. Child Care Resource Network has Child Care Navigators standing by who will provide you with a free list of licensed or registered child care programs near your home or work. Call 716-877-6666 ext. 3064 today for a custom list of open child care providers.
